Leonard Robles
He is a Colombian saxophonist of Smooth Jazz and Gospel. His musical training as a child has roots in traditional Baptist music taught by missionary musicians, so with a children's symphonic band he acquired a more homogeneous character in what is performance and sound.
Leonard performs soprano, alto sax and tenor. He graduated from the prestigious Atlantic University where he earned the meritorious title of musician. Pre-nominated for the Latin Grammy as instrumentalist of the musical project + Vida.
Invited to different groups as a soloist and accompanist of singers such as: Andy Montañez, Belkis Concepción, Juan Carlos Coronel, Gadiel Espinoza Jaime Murrel. With Fausto Chatella he won 3 consecutive awards at the Barranquilla orchestra festival.
His participation in several recordings as a music producer for projects in Colombia, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Puerto Rico, Spain, Mexico, Argentina, Peru, Uruguay and the United States as a section musician.
He currently works as Director of the Band of Musicians of the Colombian National Army and his two albums will be released simultaneously as a soloist.
